My turn to ask for some help from you helpful folks
I installed the XML-based Flash slideshow app from FlashNifties:
http://www.flashnifties.com/xml_slideshow.php
Safari loads the sample slideshow on that page and plays it just fine.
The (free version) download includes a sample slideshow and a sample HTML file. When I open that, the slideshow (the same one as on the demo page!) plays fine, but I get an error in the Activity Window that apparently came from JavaScript.
I installed the slideshow on my website where the slides seem to play just fine but, again, this mysterious Javascript error.
No errors in IE on Windows XP.
Do you guys see any errors when you download and try the slideshow? Any idea what error this might be? There's nothing showing up on Safari's error console. I'm racking my brain trying to figure out what's different about running it locally or on my own server that gives me errors, while it runs fine on their own site.
